Girish is Head of Finance at Pandorum and brings 24+ years of domain experience working across large Technology MNCs and Indian companies, His expertise spans controllership in growth & matured stage companies, corporate restructuring, fund mobilization, financial planning & management and compliance.

Riaz Basha Shaik

Riaz joined Pandorum as a Junior Research Scientist and works in the Cornea Project. Riaz graduated from BITS Pilani Goa campus with Master of Engineering in Biotechnology. He worked for 4 years as a consultant Research Associate for University of Washington for a program ‘Malaria Evolution in South Asia (MESA)’ funded by NIH. Prior joining to Pandorum he worked for more than a year at Next Generation Genomics Facility in National Center for Biological Sciences (NCBS), where he was involved in NGS library preparations, Sanger sequencing and training the research scholars.

Shiva Vaishnavi. K

Vaishnavi joined Pandorum as an Optometrist. She holds a Bachelors from Bausch and Lomb School of optometry. After her bachelors she joined L V Prasad Eye Institute as Consultant Optometrist and worked for 2.5 years.

Prayag Bellur

Prayag joined Pandorum as a research engineer. He hold MSc. (Production Engineering), from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Prayag’s work mainly focuses on the design and additive manufacturing projects at the company. His previous role was as a production consultant at Virtual Manufacturing Sweden AB. He was also an intern at the Indian Institute of Science in the manufacturing department.

Parinita Agrawal

Parinita joined Pandorum as a research scientist and works in the cornea project. She holds a Ph.D. from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. During her PhD she worked on development of cell-scaffold construct for cartilage tissue regeneration. She has experience in biomaterials fabrication and isolation of stem cells from human tissues.

Noopur Mitragotri

Noopur joined Pandorum as a Research Technician and woks in the cell factory project. She holds a MSc. (Biochemistry) from Fergusson college, Pune. Earlier she worked in L. V. Prasad Eye Institute as Project Fellow for one and half years where she was culturing the CSSCs in a cGMP facility for the clinical trials and was maintaining the cGMP documentation, clinical trial registration and writing manuscripts. She also has work experience in marketing and has worked as an Editorial Associate in SpringerNature

Sivarajan Chettiar

Sivarajan, Senior Research Scientist at Pandorum holds a PhD from NCCS. His PhD topic was on Neural/Cancer stem cells and studying the signalling pathways in brain cancer progression. After completing his PhD, he pursued his post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, Department of Radiation Oncology where is was working on projects studying transgenic mice models of lung, prostate and liver cancer and role of EMT in cancer progression.

Sivarajan also worked as a research associate at Indian Institute of Science, Department of Biochemistry. At Pandorum He is associated with the mini liver project.

Siva Sankar Nanda

Siva Sankar Nanda joind Pandorum as a Research Scientist. Nanda holds MSc in Biochemistry from Yogi Vemana University. He has experience in Stem cell Biology, iPSCs, CRISPR CAS 9, and Genome Editing. Previously he has done his senior research fellowship at LVPEI, Hyderabad. Nanda was trained at IISc, Bangalore, in cell biology and molecular biology. Nanda is currently associated with Liver Project and Cornea Project at Pandorum.

Nisha Pravan

Nisha, Junior Research Scientist at Pandorum, holds MTech in Medical Nanotechnology, from SASTRA University, Tamilnadu. Her work focuses on cell culture and histopathological techniques of tissues and cells. Earlier, she worked at JNCASR Bangalore, wherein she was involved in design and development of artificial retinal prosthesis using optoelectronic polymer device. Her master’s research was about the development of protein nano-carrier for enzyme-based cancer therapy. At Pandorum She is associated with the mini liver project.

Sushrut Dakhore

Sushrut, Junior Research Scientist at Pandorum, holds BSc in Biotechnology from Mumbai University, Maharashtra. He was working in inStem-NCBS Bangalore for four years as a Junior Research Fellow on different projects, such as, in vitro disease modelling using patient iPSC-derived hepatocytes for liver-stage malaria, and hESC/ iPSC derived neurons for Kleefstra syndrome. He was also working on the development of a diagnostic biomarker for early stage pancreatic cancer. At Pandorum He is associated with the mini liver project.

Tanmay Gharat

Tanmay, Research Scientist at Pandorum holds a PhD from RPI, Troy, NY, USA. In his PhD Tanmay developed stem cell-based scaffolds for orthopedic applications. He was awarded the Howard P. Isermann Fellowship in 2011 at RPI. Prior to joining Pandorum, Tanmay worked as a Scientist at 3DBio Holdings LLC in Ithaca, NY and as Method Validation Scientist at Emilia Resources LLC in Mississippi in the USA. At Pandorum Tanmay is involved in the Cornea Project.

Rajan Narayan

Rajan has joined Pandorum as a Lab Manager overseeing the General Administration and assisting the R&D primarily related to Pandorum’s mini-liver platform. He holds a PhD (Bone and Vascular Tissue Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has worked at the Stem Cell Facility, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and at the Stem Cell Biology Lab, National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi and has industry experience working at Biocon Ltd.

Sanjay Kumar Ojha

Sanjay is a research scientist and working in the Bio-artificial cornea project.
Dr Sanjay completed his PhD in Biotechnology from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. He has completed postdoctoral research in an Indo-Frech collaborative Project at the Department of Biophysics, working towards development of biomarker for cardiovascular disease.

Shivaram Selvam

Shivaram is a Senior Research Scientist at Pandorum with expertise in biomaterials science and tissue engineering. Dr Shivaram holds a Ph.D. and M.S., Chemical Engineering, USC, Los Angeles, USA. During his Ph.D., Shivaram worked on the design and development of a bioartificial lacrimal gland device for patients suffering from severe dry eyes. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience, Georgia Tech, Atlanta, he was involved in near Infra-Red imaging of biomaterial associated inflammation and infection around implantable medical devices in a minimally-invasive manner. Prior to joining Pandorum, Shivaram was a Scientist-D & INSPIRE Faculty Fellow in the Division of Polymeric Medical Devices, SCTIMST, Trivandrum.

Vanitha V Rao

Vanitha joined Pandorum as a research scientist and primarily working in projects related to mini-liver platform. She holds a PhD from NUS, Singapore, focusing on functional muscle genomics. During her postdoctoral research at the Institute for stem cell biology and regenerative medicine (InStem), Bangalore, she has worked towards delineating the mechanisms governing the extraordinary differentiation potential of Vertebrate head neural crest stem cells.

Jeya Prita

Jeya Prita, Research Scientist at Pandorum holds her PhD from Anna University, Chennai and has worked on recombinant filarial vaccines and diagnostics. During her PhD, she produced monoclonal antibody at IISc, Bangalore and developed sandwich ELISA for filarial diagnosis. Prior to joining Pandorum Dr Jeya worked as research scientist at Geniron Biolabs Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore where she worked in developing veterinary vaccines. She also has post-doctoral experience at NUS Singapore.

Muthu Dhandapani

Muthu, Senior Manager (Facility, Regulatory, and Quality) have over 13+ years of industrial experience in R&D, Quality, Regulatory gained from US, EU and India. He has built-out few millions dollar worth state of the art laboratories and validated them as per ISO/EU/FDA standards for clean room manufacturing. Implemented Quality across R&D, clinical trials and biopharmaceutical projects. Independent in obtaining laboratory accreditations (NABL, CAP), licensures (CLIA, OOS, DSIR, KPME), certifications (GLP, cGMP, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ICMED) and market approvals (CE,510k). Successfully converted few R&D platforms to do technology transfer and done commercial launches in Israel, EU, USA, India and other emerging markets. Involved in cost reduction, lean management, process improvements and laboratory automation. Authored 10 papers, 1 patent and recipient of several awards including Indian Achievers Award (2018) and Bharat Vikas Award (2018).

Fellow of Royal Society of Biology (UK), Certified Medical Device Professional (CDMP), IRCA-CQI certified chartered quality professional & QMS auditor, Internal Auditor for ISO 15189-Medical Laboratories & IRCA/CQI Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 13485:2016 Medical Device QMS/MDSAP.

Kamalnath S.

Kamalnath, Junior research scientist at Pandorum holds bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and had worked at IIT Madras as Project Associate (Molecular Biology and Proteomics), where he was involved in the functional characterization of large molecular nucleolar GTPases and in studying the effects of transfected viral proteins in the nuclear morphology of HeLa cell line. He has done a pilot study about the expression of miRNA-10a-5p in South Indian cancer patients at his bachelor's degree project.

Kaushik Iyer

Kaushik, Junior research scientist at Pandorum holds MSc in Zoology from University of Madras. His work focuses on using various cell culture techniques to make liver organoids. He was previously a JRF at Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (inStem) pursuing projects focusing on post- transcriptional gene regulation.

Suman Sengupta

Suman, Research Scientist at Pandorum Technologies holds a PhD from University of Kalyani. In his doctoral work, Suman explored the signalling circuits of metastasis in terms of cell proliferation and epithelial to mesenchymal transition in breast cancer. Suman’s post-doctoral training was carried out at Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB), Delhi and at Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative medicine (InStem), Bangalore. At Pandorum he works on the mini liver platform.

Sridhar R.

Sridhar, Accountant and Admin Executive at Pandorum, holds a B Com degree from Bangalore University. Sridhar primarily takes care of company’s day to day activities like maintenance of ledger of all expenses, maintenance of payroll, and assisting auditor for finalizing accounts. Prior to joining Pandorum Sridhar was working with Rapid Global Business Solutions India Pvt Ltd as Accounts Executive and He carries 3+ years of work Experience
